Co-Star delivers hyper-personalized astrology built on NASA ephemeris data, aimed at a young audience that grew up on social apps. Daily horoscopes mix algorithmic chart calculation with starkly written, almost editorial copy.

The interface is its signature: black backgrounds, a single serif typeface, generous negative space, and almost no color or imagery. The minimalist, magazine-like restraint stands out in a category full of mystical gradients. Notable patterns include the natal chart visualization, friend-compatibility comparisons, and push notifications written as terse, provocative one-liners.
