Endel generates personalized, adaptive soundscapes—using inputs like time of day, weather, and heart rate—to help users focus, relax, or sleep. It is grounded in research on sound and the nervous system.

The design is strikingly minimal and abstract: generative visuals that respond to the audio, a few simple mode selections (Focus, Relax, Sleep), and almost no chrome. The experience is meant to recede into the background. It is a reference for ambient, generative-audio UX, mood-based mode selection, and a deliberately quiet interface where the soundscape, not the screen, is the product.
