Facebook Local UI design & app screens

Facebook Local was a standalone app surfacing nearby events, restaurants, and places using Facebook's events and recommendation data. It targeted people looking for things to do around them.

The design combined event discovery with local recommendations: map and list views, category browsing, friend signals, and event detail pages. It's a reference for local-discovery UX, blending social data with location-based browsing to answer "what's happening near me."
