happn is a dating app built around real-world proximity: it shows you people you've physically crossed paths with during your day. The twist is turning everyday chance encounters into potential matches.

The interface centers on a timeline of recent crossings with location context, profile cards, and a like/charm interaction model, plus chat once matched. Its location-driven discovery distinguishes it from swipe-only rivals. It is a reference for dating-app UX with a geospatial hook: profile presentation, the match-and-message flow, and designing around a distinctive serendipity-based premise.
