Yik Yak is an anonymous, location-based community app where users post and vote on short messages visible to others nearby. It found its audience on college campuses.

The design is feed-centric and lightweight: anonymous text posts, up/down voting, and a hyperlocal radius that defines the community. The interface keeps posting frictionless and content ephemeral, with simple cards and voting controls driving the experience.
